Outlook calendar not updating sharepoint
How can I add a public folder calendar to the list of Other Calendars in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 so that I can see it side-by-side with my personal mailbox Calendar folder? The ability to display multiple calendars side-by-side is one of the most useful new features in Outlook 2003.So, everyone knows that Share Point has a calendar list type that is defined and ready to use, out of the box.Hopefully you know that with Microsoft Office Outlook 20, you can read the Share Point calendar from Outlook. If you access it through the Favorites hierarchy or the Other Calendars list, Outlook 2003 is likely to experience corruption of the custom forms cache. I've checked your problem and it works with my Outlook 2007 as described by Sue the following way: The trick to adding a public folder calendar to the Other Calendars list is to switch to the folder list and drag the calendar folder to your Public Folder\Favorites area.Microsoft has a hotfix designed to solve this problem. The public folder calendar automatically becomes available in the Other Calendars list. When you say "Looking for reproducible occurrences," do you mean you cannot investigate until additional people report the same problem?Or is there additional information you need to investigate my situation further?
Since I upgraded the i Phone to i OS 10.0.1, the calendar is not upating. Also no change after re-installing itunes on my laptop (Windows 19).
The column name, description, or other “hints” to the user can explain that the link creates an i Calendar file.
The next step would be to create a custom list view, using Share Point Designer, where you use the value of the field to create a hyperlink with visible text that says something like “Export to Outlook.” Last but not least, you can roll your own solutions to provide “Export to Outlook” capabilities that can even support recurring events.
If this does not work with you, can you please provide more information about what Outlook you use?
Thanks Sigi In Outlook 2010 you must (or can) right click on the calendar in public folders and choose add to favorites.
I tried changing the calendar setting from push to fetch and back, and turning off the calendar in the account and re-adding it and neither worked. Synchronization seems to be running as it should be ("synchronizing calendar" is shown on status line) but no calendar items are copied.
